Every piece is crafted in 925 sterling silver — hallmarked, nickel-free, and built to last. White accent and pavé stones are precision-cut American Diamonds (cubic zirconia), chosen for their brilliance and light return. Coloured centre and feature stones are Rudian Colour Crystals — laboratory-grown colour crystals engineered for saturated, gemstone-accurate colour.

American Diamonds are precision-cut lab-created stones with the same brilliance and clarity as the finest natural white stones. They are not imitation — they are a deliberately chosen material: ethically sourced, optically consistent, and structurally durable. Rudian uses only high-grade American Diamonds set with the same care applied to fine jewellery.

Rudian Colour Crystals are laboratory-grown colour crystals used for coloured centre and feature stones across our collections. Unlike standard cubic zirconia — which cannot hold deep, consistent colour in greens, blues, reds, and saturated hues — Rudian Colour Crystals are engineered specifically for colour accuracy. A green Rudian Colour Crystal delivers the depth of an emerald. A deep blue delivers the richness of a sapphire. They are lab-created, conflict-free, and chosen because colour-accurate materials produce better jewellery — not as a compromise.

We chose lab-created stones — American Diamonds and Rudian Colour Crystals — because mining causes irreversible harm: to land, to water systems, and to the communities built around extraction. Natural stone mining, at any scale, leaves a permanent footprint.

Lab-grown diamonds were a considered option. They eliminate mining — but their production is energy-intensive. CVD diamond growth consumes significant energy per carat, and most production does not yet run on renewable power. We chose precision-grown American Diamonds and colour crystals because they require far less energy to produce, without sacrificing the optical quality our designs need.

We chose silver over gold for the same reason: silver carries a fraction of gold's production energy and chemical footprint. And we chose design over material status — because a beautifully engineered piece in responsible materials outlasts anything bought purely for what it cost to make.

925 sterling silver naturally oxidises over time with exposure to air, moisture, and skin. All Rudian pieces are finished to protect against this. SOVEREIGN and AMOUR pieces are finished in 18k gold vermeil, which seals the silver beneath a rich gold layer. ETERNAL, AURORA, and MAJESTÉ pieces are rhodium-plated — a hard platinum-group metal that maintains the white-bright finish and resists tarnish. Our base material is always 925 sterling silver — hallmarked, nickel-free, built to last. Select collections are finished in 18k gold vermeil: SOVEREIGN in 18k yellow gold, AMOUR in 18k rose gold. ETERNAL, MONOGRAMME, and MAJESTÉ are finished in rhodium-plated sterling silver, while AURORA is hand-finished in colour — enamel, coloured rhodium, and coloured stones. This lets us bring the warmth of gold and the brilliance of colour to the precision and craftsmanship that silver allows.

Gold vermeil is a thick layer of solid gold electroplated over sterling silver. Rudian uses 18k gold applied at 3–5 microns — significantly thicker than standard commercial gold plating. The result is a rich, consistent finish that wears far longer than thin-plated fashion jewellery, while keeping the piece lighter and more wearable than solid gold.

With normal care, 18k vermeil at 3–5 microns maintains its finish for several years. High-contact pieces — rings, bracelets — will show wear faster than earrings or necklaces. The underlying 925 silver never deteriorates; only the surface finish ages, and it can be fully restored. We offer replating through our After-Sales service.

Keep it dry. Remove before swimming, bathing, exercising, or applying perfume and lotion. Store in the pouch or box provided, away from other pieces. Wipe gently with a dry soft cloth after wearing. Yes — every piece. Nothing is held in stock. When you place an order, your piece enters production. This is how we maintain precision in every detail and ensure nothing sits in a warehouse waiting.

Crafting time depends on the complexity of the piece. Each product page shows your specific estimated dispatch window. As a general guide:

• Simpler pieces (studs, small pendants, rings): dispatched within 7 working days
• Standard pieces (drop earrings, statement rings, necklaces): dispatched within 14 working days
• Elaborate or statement pieces (layered pieces, colour-set and multi-stone work, heavier cuffs): dispatched within 21+ working days

Once dispatched, delivery takes 2–4 business days via insured courier with tracking.

We do not offer expedited crafting at this time. If you have a specific date requirement, write to us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.

We deliver across India. International shipping is available on request — write to us before ordering.

Yes. All orders are dispatched via insured courier with end-to-end tracking. In the rare event of loss or damage in transit, we will replace the piece.

A signature is required on delivery. If you are unavailable, the courier will attempt redelivery or hold at a nearby facility. Tracking details are sent when your order is dispatched.

Because each piece is made specifically for you, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. This is the nature of made-to-order craft — your piece exists because you ordered it.

If your piece arrives with a manufacturing defect or is damaged in transit, we will replace it at no cost. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the piece and packaging.

We offer free resizing on all rings within 30 days of delivery. Please use our ring size guide before ordering — it includes a printable sizer and a video walkthrough. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up. To request a resize, contact us with your order number and the correct size.

Damage from wear, loss, theft, or improper care is not covered. Tarnishing over time is a natural property of silver and is not a defect. Plating wear over time (particularly on high-contact pieces like rings and bracelets) is normal and not covered — replating is available on request at a nominal charge.

Many pieces are crafted in limited numbers. The product page will state when a piece is limited and how many remain. Once a creation retires — either because all pieces have found their owners, or because we have chosen to retire the design — it will not return.

It means every piece in that edition has been claimed. The design will not be reproduced. If you see a retired piece, it belongs to someone — it cannot be ordered.
